Gloucestershire Days Out

Gloucestershire is one of the most enjoyable family destinations to be found anywhere. Whether you are taking the family or a class of students, there are all kinds of things to do and see in Gloucestershire. You can secure the services of a Gloucestershire coach hire service in advance and from there you should be able to travel to several well-managed and entertaining children’s amusement parks. One that we would recommend would be the Cattle Country Adventure Park. This park has a wide range of entertaining as well as educational exhibits and venues for every age and size of individual. The first one is Playbarn 1 which has a giant wavy slide plus an assault course, ball pit and not one but two large indoor playbarns for kids to ramble around in and explore. A visit to the boating lake will find your group rowing around this scenic lake with the ducks, Canadian Geese and swans to guide you. Each boat holds five people but there needs to be one adult in each boat. For the more adventurous explorers the giant climbing net, which is the largest climbing net in the UK, is over 40 feet high and offers anyone brave enough to climb it a magnificent view of the park. The net is open from April through September each year. Animal Encounters provide the guests with hands-on access to hundreds of different animals. Wallabies, Gloucester Pigs, rabbits, goats, sheep, and deer are just some of the many breeds and species of animals in the park. Bottle feeding goes on almost continuously and guests are encouraged to join in the feeding sessions. American Bison roam the paddocks and there are regularly scheduled hayrides out to their grazing areas to see these mammoth beasts up close.
